This page currently states that no analytics or marketing cookies are used, which is true of the site as built. If Google Analytics, a tag manager, a chat widget or embedded maps are added, this page must be updated and a consent banner added at the same time. A banner that does not match the cookies actually set is worse than no banner.

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. This page explains what the Ency Care website uses them for.

Strictly necessary

These are needed for the website to work and to keep it secure, for example protecting our forms from automated abuse. They do not track you and they cannot be switched off through a consent banner, because the site cannot function safely without them.

Analytics and marketing

This website does not currently set analytics or marketing cookies, and does not build a profile of your browsing. If that changes, we will ask for your consent before any such cookie is set, and we will update this page to list what is used and how long it lasts.

Third-party content

Some links on this site take you to other organisations, such as the Care Quality Commission, independent care directories or our Facebook page. Those websites set their own cookies and have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we do not control.

How to control cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you do this. Look for “Privacy” or “Cookies” in its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of this site working properly, such as submitting the care enquiry form.
